This activity had given me an opportunity to learn deeper on the use of Blogs. Technology is indeed of great help to us if we only know how to use it. Through Blogging, we can now share information in a more meaningful and creative way. With the use of Web Blogs, we could create an outlet to everyone who share the same views and passion in sharing ideas. "crilyn" One thing I can describe to the Blog activity is: it's a challenging task. It is my first time to engage in such thing. I have been exploring the cyber space for few years but it was only contained in the world of social networks and websites I visited for researching some information. When I experienced the burning desire to make our blog awesome, then I realized there are a lot of things I have not yet explored in the internet. At first it was a hard job to make things right for we are all neophytes in Blog activity. "liezl" Web blogging is a very much difficult since it was my first time to involve in this kind of activity, but through this I was challenge to explore the web patiently because i am not really fond of browsing and exploring the internet. At the first time, I really have this so called difficulty but as we go on with blogging my knowledge about its importance and application was made clearer too and it opened my mind to its advantages and uses. "noem" At first, I did experience a hard time in blogging as a first timer. After a week, my group mates decided to change to another blog that is a user friendly. This blog motivates me as a beginner to surf and improve my knowledge about online blogging. It minimizes my fear of using technology as a tool to share ideas especially by blogging. Blogging is also very useful especially for the educators as a source of information and for sharing information for the improvement of knowledge and for an effective teaching and learning process. "farah" Blogs are extensively popular in education, teachers now have been using web blogging to support teaching and learning since 2005. Additionally, blogs give students ownership over their own learning and an authentic voice, allowing them to articulate their needs and inform their own learning. Blogs have been shown to contribute to identity-formation in students. "ninche' To integrate 21st century and technology skills into the curriculum nowadays more and more teachers are requiring student blogs in their classrooms. Blogs can be an ideal platform to teach 21st century literacy and NETS skills, including creativity/innovation, communication/ collaboration, and digital community. "ryan" |
